Ir a + infinitive (near future)
'Voy a viajar', 'vamos a alquilar', 'va a llover' — ir a + infinitive is the most common near future. Conjugate ir: voy, vas, va, vamos, van.
Voy a visitar Cusco. Vamos a alquilar un auto.
Near future ≈ 'going to' in English.
¿Ya...? vs. ¿Todavía no...?
'¿Ya reservaste?' (did you already...?) answers with 'sí, ya' or 'todavía no' (not yet). 'Ya' marks completed action; 'todavía' marks something still pending.
—¿Ya compraste las entradas? —Todavía no, las compro mañana.
'Ya' + preterite = already did; 'todavía no' = not yet.
