Preterite of experience: trabajé, estudié, viví
In interviews you list completed experiences with the preterite: 'trabajé cinco años', 'estudié en la universidad', 'dirigí un equipo'.
Trabajé en ventas dos años y después estudié administración.
Preterite = finished actions with specific time frames.
Porque / para / donde pueda (purpose)
'Porque' explains a reason (why), 'para + infinitive' expresses purpose, and 'donde + subjunctive' describes a desired place: 'un lugar donde pueda crecer'.
Quiero este trabajo porque busco crecer. Estudio para mejorar mi inglés.
Subjunctive after 'donde': donde pueda, donde haya.
